It depends on what type of eel, the common eel can live to be 85 years old, though I think some have lived a little longer.

Surely tanks weren't around 200 years ago. My great grandad had one of the first tanks on the Somme in 1917.

I read a story about one that just died in a well at 155 years old and there's another one in the same well that's 110, so...at least 155 years.
