You should wash your facial with a cleansing scrub 1-2 times per week, I recommend Saint Ives Apricot Scrub. Then after applying that, use an acne cream. I suggest Clean and Clear astringent and facial wash. Keeping your face clean, wearing make-up as little as possible will help tremendously!

To try and remove it try applying a wet, warm face towel to the area where the pimple is to see if it loosens up the pimple.

As for prevention, a good facial wash product as the previous poster suggested can also be of help. I recommend Noxzema or Physoderm (this has a couple of formulations) as some other possible options, and there are generic equivalents in the drugstores.

I found that a multi-vitamin also helps with the control of the acne issue. My multi-vitamin is a prenatal vitamin. Yep, and I've never been pregnant. I checked with my dr to see if it was ok for me to take and she said it was. I've been taking them for almost 7 years now with good results. I get mine at Wal-Mart over the counter.
