lotta ways to do this, i just finished doing it about 5 mins ago actually. first and easiest is if your 2nd drive is in another pc, then use a flash/external drive to just take the whole library over (flash drives are running about 40 bucks for a gig) then theres the option of physically installing the new HD into the pc along with the old one make sure the new one is set as the slave, also you may want to try online storage (streamload, mediamax, etc.) and store online till ur new hard drive is ready then log on and download it all back...hope this helps

If the 2nd hard drive is already connected, right click on your My Music folder icon (or the folder where your musis is located) and go to the 2nd drive, right click paste. This will copy all the files.

If you are asking 'how' to attach the drive, that's another issue: if you have a desktop, you could attacth the drive by putting it in as a 'slave' drive internally.

If you have a loptop, you can buy a USB enclosure (about $30) and place the drive inside. This is a good choice if you will be keeping the drive for a long time. If you only have the drive briefly, you could copy the music to a usb thumb drive. Will take a few swaps of the usb drive sepending on how much music you have.

And of course, you could copy all the music to cd (as files) by selecting the files you want, right click, send to cd. Then copy the cd's music back to the other drive. This also has the advantage of a backup of the music.

You can see you have multiple options. Chose the one you feel best suites your needs.

if you could join two hard disk, the problem is solved....

open your cpu case and join new hd (second hd) in the IDE cable. if you don't have extra you can use cdrom cable for sometime.

At boot time configure BIOS as detect hard disk........

if it does, start your windows.............then you will get second hd ......
