There are a lot of homeless pets out there, so why not befriend a stray and have someone to talk to.
Consider this: If the dogs owner is homeless, is the dog also considered homeless just because the owner has no physical dwelling?

The reason "homeless" people have dogs with them is to have a companion with them. Having a pet as a "normal person" is also having it as a companion, but "homless" people do not interact with normal civilians, therefore it might give a "homeless" person more companion, friendship, or even love with dogs. Think about it you have no home, your dirty, you smell, noone wants to touch, talk , and even be near you. Won't you want a living thing to be with you at the least?

Why do u think a dog is called, "mans best friend" and everyone needs a friend, even the homeless. No better choice could ever be made.
