I think it is because Tax Time is here and everyone is scrambling to round up money to pay their taxes. This in turn lowers the publics consumption and investment, so the markets will suffer for a bit.

No. The market is still higher than it was last year. Setting 31 record highs is enough to make any stock trader shakey. On top of that, china's stocks slid 9% today, thats what triggered the rush to sell. Whatever, I'll see how it goes tomorrow, I can get some good stuff on the cheap.
