i would really love to get some pictures sketched? If anyone knows a good artist or a website that would be greatly appreciated! I have seen many people doing it on the streets when i visited thailand last year and now I am back in OZ i dunno where to go :(

You should use Photoshop. If you manipulate the parameters instead of just accepting the defaults you'll probably get the results you need.
Otherwise submit your pictures to anyone who can draw.

Just do a google for --> portraits charcoal or a google for --> portraits pencil. It will be a fascinating shopping trip. OIl painting starting at $170. Some charcoal work for $25. I don't know if you're in US or wherever. This way you can pick close to home. Some really good stuff out there. Good luck.

Go to hellosanantonio.com check out the artist's pages and if there's someone who's style you like e-mail them. Some are emerging artists so you may get a really good deal on a really good drawing.
