My cycad is going yellow from the stem out. I have the plant in area where is received light for most of the day without being in the direct sun. I live in Cairns Australia and my zone is 9. I have other cycads in the same pots and they don't seem to be suffering. Yes they do get a regular drink, but not everyday.

It could need Coperas - iron fertilizer, rusty nails work poked into the soil around the plant. Water need check, lift the pot, light = dry, aerate (poke holes in the soil) and water. Heavy = wet, allow to dry out. Beautiful plants! good luck.
