This is very true.
Somebody said: Kisi ko mukkamil jahan nahi milta, kisi ko jamin to kisi ko aasman nahi milta(No body gets the whole world, some get land, some get sky).
You work for something tirelessly and find to your dismay that this very cause led to a tragedy.
Hence, do not pine for something too hard and take life as it comes.

We can never be happy ALL the time. If we were then we would not know what happiness was. It is the down times, the sad times that make us appreciate the happy ones. Who can say if it comes in cycles. I'm sure there are people out there who can calculate this or that and say everything is a cycle of some type. But the reality is that nobody really knows and for each of us it is different. Enjoy the good times, but realize that you appreciate them more when you have also experienced the bad times.
Read a poem called "Richard Corey", ( sorry, but I can't remember the author) and it says very eloquently the fallacy of believing money and the good life will make you always happy. Also remember, so much in life is attitude and how you approach things. The one thing you have total control over is your attitude. Be positive and I believe you will have more happy times than sad. Good luck!

Life is an everlearning exercise. If you had enjoyed everything possible in life, than life beyond would be meaningless. Happiness and sorrow are two sides of the same coin. I'm sorry for your loss but you have to learn to live with it. As your question itself you have just experienced a part of life, sorrowful though it might be but nevertheless it's life.

Raman Jee. I think you are superstitious. This is not the case which you have stated on this site.Happiness is a separate situation whereas sorrow is a separate one. These are the parts of life. If happiness comes, it is not necessary that sorrow must follow it. However, sorrowful situation may be caused in your life in the same way as happiness comes in life. We should compromise with both situations, however, they may be extreme ones.. One should be bold enough to face such eventualities.

I was talking with my boyfriend to a friend about this very same subject about a week ago. And we came to a conclusion that you BELIEVE that's how it works. Just like you believe there is a god, a heaven, etc (if you do, no offense). Kind of a karma balance thing, must have so much bad to have good. It might not make sense to a lot of people, but enjoy some green and think about it. It will then :)

Life is temprorary a phase of time that we enjoy for a limited period. As we were destined to be born so are we destined to die.
Destiny does not interfere with your sense of happiness, it is most unfortunate that your wife passed away on a day that you had achieved so much matearial success you lost your most loved one. It was her time to leave this world as will it be one day for you too. Live well my friend live by giving happiness to others by your acts of charity, goodness and find that inner total happiness for it is only when you give will you get.

Destiny plays its role perfectly. No one can change it or avoid it. As per my horoscope I have to be a loose-sex lady. I do not wish to be so but, it is true that I am. I got a husband who encourages me to have sex with friends also, occasionally, for change. So, I am getting sexual pleasure from variety of people. In the past, not less than 25 friends have had sex with me.See, destiny has played its role. I could not change it even though I was not for such things.

Money is everyone's destiny in life. With the money everyone has, here comes the enjoyment of everyone. And I say Money is power and power is everything on this freaking lonely planet called earth.

PS; Pls don't tell me again and again that money is not everything, ok? Even a sick or funeral needs money to service too! What a freaking world we have! lol...

it is not because you got house, car,or promotion which caused your wife's death even you wouldn't got these the death woukd have happened. you can take it that God's intention was not that he should give something and take away. it is the karma and her lifespan was limited if what u say was true then nobody will look forward.to get prmotion, or big house.or to buy car
