Accusation of sexual harrassment does not mean guilty. The accuser must complain formally to her/his company (if work-related) or the police (if in public) and the company/police must investigate the case. Meanwhile the accused is still able to keep his/her job until proven guilty. Then the penalty will depend on company policy. If very minor, a formal apology. If serious and to set a good example, usually the guilty party will be sacked, or if very serious, a police report can be lodged. If it is a police case, the guilty party may be fined or jailed or both (depending on country).

sure you can quit your job and if the person wants to sue you for sexual harrassment, just be aware of that possibility
