I thinks it's the genetic marker on the DNA strand that makes them different...but I'm not 100% sure. What do you think it is?

It's looks like a mutation on a DNA strand, this might just be the logo of Heroes or something. . .

OH! You mean like the one on that girls alter-ego? I'm not sure, now that you mention it I have noticed it, I've never thought about it.
