Sometimes they have their own problems to deal with, just that ur unaware. Stress is probably one of the major factors aswell. They're trying to vent their emotions on something or someone. I dont think its intentional.

They become possesive only when they're afraid of loosing that particular thing or person. There are always reasons behind acts like this.

Talking abt it, solves lots of issues. It helps :)

The mood of a person is normally controlled by his physical health, status of his heart and other organs, and his environment in which he is presently located. Change in any of these situations may lead to shift in mood of the person. As the physical environment around a person changes his mood will also shift accordingly. For this we can say that "A person's mood always tries to negate the impulses of stress/ strain/pressure or influence of drug etc. and accordingly adjusts himself in the changed environment". For example a person can not have the same mood in the company of his wife or family or friends or society or one of his enemies etc.,he has to behave as per the situation.

agree with apache indian totally, if we did not have mood swings & became totally predictable, life would be sedentary, everything would be expected nothing would come as a surprise. each one would have a task set & a goal to reach with no challenges at all. when we interact with different people with different outlook, different moods, it teaches us to tackle each situation head on. we learn from our mistakes & the obstacles that come in our path. it makes us more confident & trust in ourselves increases. makes us richer in experience. its all a learning process & life is that itself not a predictable path set for each individual.
