Does Judge Judy talk sense ?

I've seen a few of the TV shows recently, and am now quite a follower.

What are your thoughts ? Does she talk sense, or do you find her a bit over bearing ?

i like her, very funny and yes overbearing. BUT hey some people don't get things unless she is overbearing with them. i remember one episode where a guy was being a lazy bum and not paying his child support. she gave him hell!

No Judge Judy is serious business one of the best judges I've seen. I like her because she is not on TV just for entertainment she gets to the bottom of the issue and makes a fair judgment, she is the best.

I find her a bit sensational.

Her "court" bears no resemblance to an acutal courtroom.

A real judge would cite law and refrain from asking questions that are irrelevant to the legal issue at hand.

She's an entertainer. Even though she may have been a judge at some point, she doesn't act like one now.

She is soooo great!
I have been watching her for years. I've bought her books on the internet. She is just sooo sensible and although she can be slightly aggressive, she is just pure magic.
I laugh and laugh at her programmes. Some of the people that come up against her are just so stupid, she can see right through them all.
She is a very wise lady and I'd love to meet her.
Superb entertainment....shame some of our judges in England aren't as wise and just as her!

Judge Judy is a know-it-all whom when one comes down to it, just doesn't know anything. She is way overbearing. She doesn't let folks explain anything to her. She makes up her mind before the accused has started talking.

She thinks that because she is a judge that she knows all about the lives of folks who come before her. She doesn't. She assumes too much which gets her played most of time. I feel sorrow for most of guys that go before her. They more than likely don't stand a chance.

If had to go to court and walked in and saw that she was the judge, I would just leave because she won't give each side a fair chance.

She's irate like a lot of little grannies! Her big thing is she hates stupid people. That's what she has said before in interviews. The problem is everyone that comes in her court is kinda dumb and after she gets done yelling at them and shushing them, they're so frustrated they come across as dumb. I don't watch her because she's irritating. The Cuban lady on People's Court & Judge Mathis are getting to be a pain too.

No she gets on my nerves and all those whiny individuals who think it is okay to sue someone over the slightest little thing (and yes we do have them in the UK as well, it's not just in the good old US of A!) really need to get a life and have a bite of a reality sandwich.

Sometimes she talks sense but most of the time her over bearing attitude p*sses me off. Must admit though I do get a laugh out of her at times too.

I love the "EYEBROW'S" always in that constant "V" angry shape, and that FAST sharp NY tongue makes me "crack up", those cases are decided ahead of time, and she gets such "IDIOTS" in her court room, it's like "You wish you were saying what Judy was saying", she's pretty damn funny.... "Is there a sign that says STUPID over my head" ?... "I was born at night but, NOT last night", I ran into her once, and told her that I really liked her and the show, she gave me an autographed picture of herself, and signed it for me, she REALLY is a sweet lady, the rest is just an act, but WHAT AN ACT !

Typical short person punching over her weight. Entertainment out of nothing. Gerry Springer in a black gown and a millionaire, to boot.
