over heat problem

just had the same on a satellite

owners had it diagnosed as a mobo fault but i discovered that the fan was not moving so i sucked the air out using a hoover and it is fine now. (Holding it over the air in port on the underside)

As all have stated above it rather is various issues. even nevertheless, from the spec of your laptop you have a great sort of warmth being generated, so your followers won't be sufficient. I had the comparable problem with new RAM and different stuff on a laptop that ran fantastic for 2 years besides. It did precisely the comparable as you for mnths and drove me mad, yet i'm no longer asserting yours it the comparable problem. What I did replaced into take off the side panel, checked each and everything as counseled above, then caught a great table fan stunning next to it to blow chilly air in it, in the previous and mutually because it replaced into working. This stopped it occurring, untill I took it away, then I have been given the BIOS click (quietly) to tell me it replaced into getting warm back. I placed it back and it replaced into fantastic. I scanned the full element while booted, and the different 2 drives I even have, as all of them generate warmth, then i bought a twin fan for £7 to greater healthful interior to capture up on all of it. It has on no account faulted for the reason that! it fairly is properly worth a attempt as you have extra some bits that are no longer accepted to the motherboard. desire this enables.

If you are using Windows go into Control Panel select Power and see what the settings are. You can adjust them to keep your computer on permanently (unless you want to close it down) or to turn off at a set interval when not being used.

During the 30 minutes, do you use it? It may be your Power Options setting.

Try this: Start>Control Panel>Performance and Maintenance>Power Options>Power Schemes.

You'll be able to set the setting for when it's running on battery and plugged in.

The usual causes for random shutdowns are:
1)Overheating triggers auto-shutdown to protect the CPU;
2)Memory module going bad;
3)Power supply going bad.

it could be an overheating or a heat shutoff, you need to go into bios and check for heat monitors and see what there at.
checking the battery status would be a good idea also.
With laps good idea to know where the air vents/fans are and not block them, like laying on bed sometimes causes overheating.
