Heir to UK throne marries a Muslim woman..?

Question

Given the history of the previous Prince of Wales abdicating in favour of marrying a US divorcee', what would be the protocol SHOULD, (not to mention hyperthetically) the current Prince of Wales have decided to marry a Muslim woman rather than Camilla, OR, as a future scenario, were Prince William to marry a Muslim woman.. ?

I believe the Constitution states that a British Monarch may not marry a Catholic, but mentions nothing about other faiths...

Prince Harry as a better chance to have a muslim wife compared to William.

Also, I think there wouldn't be much of an issue because if its not in the rules, than its not a rule.

I read somewhere (maybe it was Hello magazine or something) that Prince Charles has secretly converted to Greek Orthodox Christianity, which is causing problems because he is supposed to be defender of the faith, i.e. the Anglican church. If you noticed when he married Camilla, he had an Orthodox priest attend the ceremony as well as the Archbishop of Canterbury. Apparently this all comes from the influence of his other grandmother, that is not the Queen Mum, but Phillip's mother. She was the one we never saw in the press, member of the Greek royal family and some sort of religious enthusiast. She looked like a nun, wore a black habit with a big cross, etc.

So rumour has it he is thinking of changing his title from 'defender of the faith' to 'defender of faiths' when he becomes king; from there it is not so far to accepting your hypothetical situation as a not so hypothetical reality.
