I am trying to find the name of this anime I have seen. Its basically teenagers that control these HUGE robots, like bigger than buildings. Its like a dramtic, serious anime. Like...these kids become one with the robots...and they fight. And they live on a strange wordl. Anyone know? And guesses?

Hmm robots are very numerous in anime. Could you be more specific? What exactly do you mean by a strange world? When you mean they become one with the robots do you mean they pilot the robots or they become the robots?
Robots with teens. Hmmm... I can think of "Neo Genesis Evangelion" (if your looking for dramatic this might be it, but it doesn't fit your strange world category, but then again a place were giant robots figth angels/aliens might be considered strange) and "Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure." (i doubt its this one as this is a comedy) as well as "Escaflowne." (not sure about this one considering that only two charaters that ride the robots are teens)
There are also the Gundams. A Gundam is what they call those big robots so a lot of anime will have gundam for their title. The more famous series are "Gundam Seed" and "Gundam Wing." (This is serious and has teens and is in space.)

Too late to be the first one to answer "Neon Genesis Evangelion" but I can clarify that they do NOT live on a strange world. Neon Genesis takes place in Toyko...it just looks strange because of the destruction caused by the First Impact (think of a huge nuclear blast taking place at one of the Poles).

Escaflowne
That sort of storyline (human-becomes-one-with-robot) is very common in anime, so there are tons of possibilites. Ask your local geek if it's not one of these 2 things I mentioned. Or check out youtube with the tag 'anime' and 'robot' to see if one of those is what you're looking for.
