Someone asked this earlier, but no one gave her a great answer, I was just wondering when is a good time to pack the bag for the hospital? When did everyone else pack theirs? Thanks.

I started 2 weeks before I was due but up until a few days was I completely packed. My sisters kept saying to do this earlier but I'm a bit last minute type person. Many start months before they're due which is good just in case you have the baby earlier.
Congrats on your baby! Enjoy the priceless gift of love.
Psalm127:3

they are a reward from him.

I always packed mine slowly. I'd keep my eyes open for those "got to have" items. If I found the perfect way comfy nightgown, I'd buy it, take it home and pack it. Saving it to spoil myself after labor was nice.
We had to make all my baby's come out, so I didn't have to worry about going into labor early too much. I would start about four weeks before you're due, and just start gathering your favorite things for you bag. I would try to have it packed within to weeks of your due date. It might sit around for the better part of a month, but just think of it as your luxury bag. Little things here and there to pamper yourself.
Good luck, and congrats

I think you should start packing around 30 weeks cause you just don't never know. I was not packed when i first went into labor at 33 weeks and still i did not pack after that cause i didn't think i would have my son early which i did at 35 weeks so there i was 2 hours from home without anything. My son had his photo taken in the hospital shirt they give you (I was born at so and so hospital)
I was airlifted from my hometown hospital to a university one in my homestate.
Start packing early.
Read the above website and good luck!

I went into premature labor so my bag never got packed. I woke up and had to be rushed to the hospital.
Honestly, there's really no need to even go all out with packing a bag. Just get a nursing gown, socks, underwear, nursing bra, deodorant and a toothbrush, etc.
I did perfectly fine without a bag. Provided all goes as planned you'll be out within 24 hours after the birth. Don't sweat it! No need in stressing over it. :-)

I packed mine at 7 months. If you end up going in early you dont want to have to grab everything as you are running out the door. You can never be too early. Pack things that you don't need right now and make a short list of the things that you need to grab last minute (i.e. toothbrush, hairbrush, soap...).

I have six kids and I packed about a month ahead of time...get the baby stuff together..thats fun...and really you won't need much at all...most hospital will provide toothbrushes and other essentials....a few things like a nightgown and something to wear home and you are good to go!

My first child was born at 34 weeks, so no bag was packed for her!
But with each subsequent baby I have had my bag packed by 34 weeks just in case.

I was packed at 8 months or earlier.Just remember, the hospital has things you need. The mom or parent or hubby can always go and get it later
