Okay, this has to do with getting a tatoo. My husband saved my life literally. If it wasn't for him i wouldn't be here. I want to find something to symbolize how much he means to me.

Lovebirds, and doves both mate for life. Lovebirds will usually die if they lose their partner. they go into a depression, and litterally pick themselves to death.

Love birds and doves. My sugar glider also died because he didn't have a mate. He got so depressed he stopped eating. There was no medical reason, he just needed a partner.

There was also a show done I believe on the Discovery or TLC channel that was about the HEART BREAK DISEASE. It was something where several men and women after going through something traumatic where they lose their spouse and they develop a heart condition that is unexplainable.
I figure this is why when most old people lose their spouse they don't live very much longer after that.

A lot will because of raging horomones if not nuetered or fixed. Guinea pigs cervix will close if not bred for first two years making it unable to have kids. Female ferrets will die from horomone stress if not bred in their first 2 yrs.

Nothing romantic that I can think of. The swan idea would be neat, I think, with the necks either intertwined or in a heart shape.

The only ones that come to mind off the top of my head, are skunks and ferrets. If they don't mate-they die.
