Can you be to honest?

I am always telling it like it is. I dont hold punches, I give the hard core painful at times truth to people who ask my opinions and here on questions and asnwers! I have been called rude and bitter and obnoxsiuos.But I dont care I say what I feel. Are you the type of person who likes things sugar coated? tempered? Would you rather be lied to? Curious in Idaho???????

Being honest doesn't mean you have to be rude in the process.
If someone is telling me how they feel, then great. But if they are coming across as obnoxious in the process, I get offensive.
Most people do. I think its wonderful to tell the truth. I just think some people come across as being rude and crude, and their comments become a lecture rather than helpful.

I went and read a few of your answers and found you quit funny to say the least. I dont think you come across as rude. At least not in the answers you gave that I read. And the person below doesn't need to YELL!

Diplomacy is sometimes a good thing. As an adult, you should know this. It's hard to be with someone who can never try to be nice. Lying is a part of our social adaptations as primates. A little flattery could help you find a partner easier than shooting from the hip all the time. This is a window into how you view the world. Niceness is lies and unneeded. Kindness and being sensitive to another's feelings is a pack of lies too. Are you a miserable person, or simple a bully with no tact, diplomacy, or adult social skills? Doing that sometimes is one thing, it can be fun. If this is how your personality is every day, then I would say you either don't care if you hurt another's feelings or you truly view the world with no warmth, joy, or imagination. Doing that on the Web is one thing, doing that to real people in the face-to-face world is another matter too.

Though most of us don't hold punches, but words can hurts as like a knife.

Being truthful and honest to share with people what you think is great, but we have to be mindful and diplomatic. We still can convey the message across without hurting others thus been label obnoxious and unfriendly. Nobody like things to be sugar coated, neither we like to associated with mindless people what don't care what they say just for the sake of saying without any consideration.

YEA , I KNOW HOW U FEEL. PPL CALL ME A B I T C H AND OTHER NAMES B CUZ I SAY WAT I FEEL. BUT AS U SAID I COULD CARE LESS WEN I DON'T LIKE SMBODY I LET IT BE KNOWN.
