You would have to figure out a new design, get it to your congressman, and somehow get it to pass into legislation. See the funny thing that I have been thinking about lately is this, I used to think that it was wrong to say god etc. because of the freedom of religion, but really Congress can't make laws based on religion. It is funny cause they could change the bill to something else, but not because the bill says god, that would be making a law based on religion.

It was foisted upon the nation in 1956 by Republicans during the weirdness-times of the paranoid McCarthy witch trials, the cowardice of the "Red" Scare and Cold War, and other such far-right wing fanaticism, intolerance and fascism. It replaced our 180 year old national motto" E Pluribus Unum" (Out of Many, One).

I think the best thing is to consult Greek lawyers about this. And please God, they will give you a good and helpful advice. By the way, I have a placard (somewhere in my Israeli apartment), which I was given in Greece, during an anti-NATO demonstration I participated in, which states: In the Devil you trust!

Sorry. It's Not YOUR Money. Paper Cash Money Is Public Property, And The Government Prints It, Owns It, And Will Happily Take It Back If You Don't Like It. The Concept Of God Is A Core Value Here. Deal With It, Or Move On To Destroy Another Society.

You are clearly NOT a spiritual person. The question you asked has even left a bad taste in my mouth. My mother once told me ther are no such thing's as monster's. I guess they just look like people and it sound's like you might fit that bill. You go ahead and just try taking God out of people's eye's and see what happen's. You will never get it done! Because you will have more people like me, that can see monster's.
I will fight anyone to the death before I go against God. He will get you too, and I won't have to do a thing.
You are a nothing.

Start out by walking directly east. Eventually you'll see ships. Board one of these ships and keep heading east. When you arrive on land again ask for directions to Iran. Their money doesn't have "In God We Trust" written on it. When you get there, and they have you on your knees with a gun to your head I wonder what you'll think?

Create a petition and send it to your Congresspeople.

However, considering the perponderance of religious
folks in this country, I really doubt you'll get anywhere.

You might get somewhere if you can figure out how
the presense of that statement on money causes
you a problem, other than annoying you. You could
potentially sue the government, etc.

Wait until atheists are the majority, or file a lawsuit against the U.S. Mint for violation of your religious freedoms. The latter, with lawyer's fees and court costs, will probably cost you in excess of $100,000 if it goes to the Supreme Court. Or you could just give all your money to one of us, who will simply ignore the saying on it. Then you won't be offended by the sayings on it, and it will be our problem.
