If you are talking about folders, pictures, etc,,,,Send them to yourself in an email,,,they will stay in you your email until you place them where you want them,,,

when connecting the hard to the new system, make sure to set the old hard drive as slave with the jumpers, otherwise you will have a conflict and the computer will not boot until you remove the drive.

If its a standard IDE or SATA cable, just plug it up into your computer with a free connection. And just use Windows to copy the files.
