BBC without a doubt. Seems to be a bit more informative, but ITV aren't that far behind.

Until recently I would have said BBC but I think they have lost the plot a little and the government has had the ability to infiltrate their neutrality recently, They have reacted to it and it makes some reports a little suspect. SO ITV would be my choice of the moment

BBC every time. A much more polished service and with a truly international base to its reporting staff. The commercial channels rely on other news company's foreign correspondents to a large extent. And, of course, the news is not constantly interrupted with adverts.
