The Two should NOT be associated with one another, because its False. There are the Geneva convention laws in war and there is the law of attraction in love...., but seriously, Love is not a game where anything goes. People need to have compassion and common sense. People need to practice or develop a conscience, morals, values & principles. If you can't be with the one you want then have the strong sense of character to be alone for the right reasons than with someone for the wrong.

That saying comes from the reasoning that love is said to be indescribable because its an emotional feeling that can come from an endless array of ways and reasons. One love might be different from another, because people themselves love in different ways. For example there is "tough" love, Romantic love, Love of Country, Paternal love.... Love is Unconditional because there is no rules on how to love, there is no right or wrong way, so thats why "fair" is put in there. Its fair game to love and to love anyway you want to love.

I think it is true for the first part, that is, 'All is fair in love' since this in the context means everyone/everything is fair or fine or acceptable when he/she is in love naturally. I'm sorry for the second part, that is, 'All is fair in war' since I've never heard or read there was or is such a fair war, rather any war tends to be mischievous, tricky and victory-oriented at all costs. Thus any war is never fair.

As far as human nature goes, the rules state that all is fair in love and war. However, if one was to transcend beyond the primal reptillian brain into the mammalian brain, one would discover a higher level of thinking where war did not exist and love never asked the question as to whether or not it was fair.

False. I figured that out thirty three years ago and still it has proven to be true.
There is nothing fair about war, and love would never ask what is.

War and love (cupid, eros) are the same! Who will conquer whom....

War and true love are completely different therefore :

1. in war nothing is fair.
2. in true love all is fair.
