most people can not spell when they ask their questions? Because they are so used to shortening all their words?

I couldn't tell you but I do think its kind of annoying sometimes. there are times when its seems like so much "text message" language is used that I have no idea what the question is.
A lot of it does seem like its ignorance to me though. I don't use text messaging very often at all but then again my cell phone isn't permanently glued to my ear either....I do know that when I text or type emails or responses to these questions I type everything out for the most part. Maybe its just habit or maybe its the fact that when I'm saying something I want people to understand me.

Hey...that's a good question, but I think in reality, maybe they are just too lazy to spell their words correctly, or maybe they really don't know how to spell a word correctly??
I don't like to use 'slang' too much, even when I'm text messaging! I find it doesn't look right, to me, anyway. I'm a perfectionist, I guess. I like to type the right words, and get my point across, without the shortcuts. I find them annoying, really.
I mean, I get staff who 'write' me little notes and put "LOL" in the sentence, whereas, I'm always putting "ha ha ha"!!
Sheesh, who knows, everyone's different, and whatever makes them tick, or feel comfortable, I guess, all the more power to them!
It makes for laziness, though, I think!
Just my opinion, of course.
