I might get a misdemeanor for somthing I didn't do but who wants to go to jail for 2 years. How can thie effect me? Can I not get good jobs? I live in California. PLEASE HELP

i think it has to be a felony to really affect you

California is a major police state. I would consult an attorney. Its draconian down there. Should not be allowed to qualify as a State in this Union.

You got a misdemenor..who want's to go to jail ....This question isn't clear.Did you get charged? Did you go to court and gain a conviction? Did you serve time ? I assume no...The answer is depending on the charge/conviction.......The conviction does not go away...You will have to explain it away to your employer...They do background checks now so don't lie on your application for employment.
