Its just taken as Religion.... SICK

Why can'nt take it just as a 'GAME' ???
(i have written too long ... but the TRUTH..)

Its their duty to play well, and make India and us proud. They are trained and paid for that. We pay taxes and thats used for Sports and indirectly for them.

Moreover, they are paid with Advertisement, Commercials etc....the nonsense on the TV.

Its just a hype... the Colas, Suitings, energy Drinks ... just want to increase their sales.... will they even remember Tendulkar, Gangully or Dravid after they retire or may be after 10 years....they have forgotten.. Azharuddin, Jadeja, Gavaskar.

The filmstars too have no wish to encourage them they just want to gain publicity as well as money.

The news channels just want to increase their TRP's and play with people sentiment and we like fools give it to them.

We are the ones who burn the posters and curse them when they loose a match or d'nt play well. Why the hell should we OVER REACT?

Its high time we concentrate on other games and other sportsmen who are more worth then these 'MEN IN BLUE' who are rich enough even if they perform or not ..... but the atheletes who come from below the poverty line are not even benefitting after creating records.

We are giving it unnecessary attention... i would request the youth to take it as a game.... and do not make the cricketers 'Superheroes' because they are not.

Let them know they are like any otehr Indians working for their families and the Country.

Do watch WORLD CUP 2007 in true Spirits of Sportsmanship!!!

Good Luck!!!!

It is most intersting game . It runs for days. It is a game of chances. Its results are unpredictable . That's why constant interest remains. In India we have very good and colourful history of cricket. World cup is going to take place and Indian team is in good form. That is the reason for pressure on the team.

You're right! Cricket is a game, you win some and you lose some. They were brilliant in the last world cup but now their performance isn't good. I think their fans expect too much. They need to show their team more support even if they lose. Any team is nothing without supporters, they need us even more when they lose.
