That game, played by 1 player, and you have pegs in holes and an empty space in the middle and you have to jump the pegs over each other to be left with 1 peg at the end of the game. I would like to find it on a web site and play it. Thank you to all who reply.

it was peg solitaire
Peg Solitaire is a board game for one player involving movement of pegs on a board with holes. The game is known simply as Solitaire in the United Kingdom where the card games are called Patience. It is also referred to as Brainvita (especially in India). Some sets use marbles in a board with indentations The standard game fills the entire board with pegs except for the central hole. The objective is, making valid moves, to empty the entire board except for a solitary peg in the central hole.
