I have seen a preview for a movie that I find offensive and sick. Everytime it is advertised I get a disgusting feeling similar to being hit on by an old perverted man. The title is suggestive and outside the bounds of propriety. What can I do about it?

If you truly are offended by the preview you could send a letter to the studio and to the TV networks that have aired the preview. If you've seen it at the theatre, you could complain to the theatre manager as well as the company's head office. However, unless they receive a number of complaints, don't expect anything more than a courtesy Thank You for your feedback.

If this is something you feel very strongly about, or if you feel the preview was played at an inappropriate time or was inappropriate for the movie it was attached to, you can email me a letter addressed to the MPAA and I can pass it on through channels I have. I am a theatre manager and my boss is involved with movie ratings compliance.

Can you also tell me what preview you are talking about. That way I can at least review it to see if it's appropriate for programming at my theatre.

Not a thing. Perhaps 299,999,999 other people in the U.S. like it. I dont like rap but I dont complain to the FCC because I find it offensive, lude, corruptive to young kids and vulgar. Millions of others like it and this country gives you the right to watch and listen to whatever you want. Dont like it, dont watch it.

Complain to the network, call the FCC, and tell those who advertise products on that channel that you will not buy from them because of this.

Complain to news organization. I am sure Christian groups would be willing to help you stage a protest. You could write a letter to your senator.
All your really going to do by starting an uproar though is make people more determined to see it.

Don't watch it. I don't think you can do much of anything. If it's on tv it obviously has the approval from the tv police to be on there.

You can choose not to see it.

Isn't freedom of choice wonderful?
