Craft Painting?

I'm making plaster ashtrays for a friend. I need to know what is the best paint for this project?

Browse your hardware store to find a paint that is HEAT RESISTANT, for obvious reasons. Try something for automotive use, or stove paint.

Anything else will melt or catch fire and/or release toxic chemicals when heated. Unfortunately, there are no fine artist paints that meet this criteria.
