The brain runs everything including the heart. Every movement we voluntarily make is decided by the brain. In the case of survival, the brain will lower blood pressure and slow down heartbeat.

To be healthy, you must focus on the heart and the information it gives you(feeling, h-beat sensations). The brain does NOT control the heart. It processes the information and is the last strand in the rope of consciousness. But your brain will see body organs as separate, while if you focus on the present moment you will feel the heart, body and brain as one. The life circulates from the heart up to the brain in an ever-going process. People have brains which spin thoughts around inside and they lose touch with direct reality. They're always a little late and live in theory only. They will revere the brain and its wonders.......and basically destroy the planet they are REALLY standing on ,with their "well thought" technology....goood one guys, you're no smarter than an ape. Though you have the capacity to do anything you wish.....

No, cheetah. I'm afraid not, silly. There's a computer that controls your heart, and that happens to be a certain part of your brain. The heart may supply the blood to the body, but the brain is the computer controlling its function.

It is the brain which controls all functions of the body, including the heart; although the heart does have it's own intrinsic electrical system that will keep ticking even after death if the heart is placed into the proper fluid and electrolyte environment.

no its actually the heart runs everything because if the blood don't get pumped through your body and to your brain you would be dead the brain is the smart part of you and the heart and blood is the MOST important part of your body and the heart pumps blood through the chambers in your heart and out the arteries into your veins and back through again and when you here a pulse its from your heart NOT your head when you here a pulse its pumping blood through your body in a beat witch the heart controls.

Your brain controls your heart. However, without blood the brain would not work. Both are dependent on each other.

When a person dies, they can either be found brain dead, or heart dead. I am pretty sure on that. I do believe the brain runs everything.
