for the younger kids, a memory game matching words to pictures or possibly a snap type of game...

for the elder kids, a scattegories type game where they have to list:
an animal
a fruit
a city
a verb
a noun
etc
all starting with a particular letter eg for 'a':

an animal: alligator
a fruit: apple
a place: alabama
a verb: angelicly
a noun: Amsterdam

hope this helps

I believe the best way to teach a language to younger ones is to apply a fun physical gesture along with each new term. Then you can use flash cards or write words on a board in front of them and make it 'who can get the gesture faster?' game. Good luck.
