Who out of all the REAL saved rappers would you say is the best M.C.? I gotta go with Lecrae, but DA TRUTH, Flame, & Tedashii are also at the top of my list. I also like Govenor, Mouthpiece, Thi'zl and R-Swift to name a few.

I don't believe what I'm hearing Toby Mac? Are you kidding me? I'm talking about real hip hop. Music that sounds just as good or better than what the world is playing. When my unsaved friends are playing Young Jeezy, I can't come at them with John Reuben! But if I put in take me as I am by Lecrae or Houston we have a problem by Tedashii they hear the sic beats & Lyrics and get a meaningful word from God about how we should live. I'm not Knocking T Mac or John Reuben, but it's just nowhere near as hard as Flame. Groups like Gospel Gangsters & T Bone are the reason people say Holy Hip Hop is lame. Just because you rep Christ don't make it a bangin cd. Quality HHH is about a spitting fire over hot beats about Jesus, and giving Him all the glory at the same time.

TobyMac is Wack! Anybody from 116 would destroy him on the mic! Saying he started HHH is even wacker! Dude you got to be kidding me! Nobody alive can hang with Lecrae, Flame, & DA TRUTH. If you don't have these 4 cd (2 from each), you can't even comment on the state of CR/HHH. Do me a favor log onto reachrecords.com buy the 116 clique, Lecrae, Trip Lee, and Tedashii cds, give a spin, reazile the error of your ways, and hollla back at me.

Lyrically? You can't beat Braille, Theory Hazit, Propoganda & Odd Thomas. Those guys lyrically are the best I've heard heard coming from a Christian Hip Hop fan.

I used to really like TobyMac's lyrics... especially when he was with dc Talk. John Reuben is pretty good too. Gospel Gangstas have some awesome lyrics... one song in particular is Backslider. Disciples of Christian used to turn out some deep stuff too.

What? TobyMac frickin' reigns on the Christian rap scene. He frickin' wrote the book on CR and produces tons of other great artists. Granted I don't care for his solo stuff as much as when he was with dc Talk. If TobyMac hadn't stepped up to the plate... the only CR we would've had is Carman's cheesy "Resurrection Rap"!!!

LeCrae is pretty good, but the best I have ever heard lyrically...better than any other rappers period is GRITS...
What about Toby Mac?
Gospel Gangstas is pretty good too.
