when I give a guy friend a birthday card, will he misunderstand that I have special feeling for him?

It's just a card, right? I don't think he would take it wrong unless you wrote something suggestive inside. If you guys are "friends", though, he should know you and know what the boundaries are in your relationship.

Not at all if you put something simple like :
To xxxxx
Happy birthday and best wishes from xxxx
Nobody can take that the wrong way good luck:)

If you're worried about that, have other friends sign the card as well so it doesn't look like you're interested.

he shouldnt, if he does then he's an idiot lol. if he does start thinking that and starts to go for you then it will most probably end up crashing and burning, lols.
