All female mosquitoes, big or small, bite. EXCEPT for a certain species. This species happens to be larger than the others. Mosquitoes normally live off of nectar, but the females are blood suckers. Read this paragraph below from Wikipedia for more information.
"Mosquitoes are principally nectar feeders with only the females requiring a meal of blood, except for the Toxorhynchites, which never drinks blood.This family includes the largest of the extant mosquitoes (colloquially referred to as "mosquito eaters" and "mosquito hawks"), the larvae of which are predatory on the larvae of other mosquitoes. These mosquito eaters have been used in the past as mosquito control agents with variable success."

Those giant "Skeeter Eaters" are called craneflies. Not only do they not bite, most of them don't even eat. The larva are the ones who can be predatory or lawn parasites.

yes, if it is a female the suck blood to feed their young. males donot bite
