Aesthetic.What would be the Aesthetic quality of an aliminium tin can?

its just a shape, but you use a block of wood inside and a good sized nail and hammer and punch holes in it with the nail using the block of wood to keep you from crushing the can while hammering the nail, and you can make patterns with the holes, then spray paint the can and drop a tealight inside, and you have a candle holder that will make patterns on your wall in a dark room.

There is a kit that you can make a lamp shade out of aliminum pop cans. 4H kids do it ever year and enter them in the fair at state and local levels.

Cover it with cloth for a pencil/pen holder.
cover a larger can with cloth to hold kitchen utinsils on the counter top.
