I have a sony vaio laptop computer with windows xp that was given to me by my old boss. I was using the computer with her username and password and now all of a sudden it will not let me in. How can I get into the computer with the username and password not working? Here is my e-mail address if this question closes before I get a good answer : jodie_superstar@yahoo.com

Theres only one avenue you can take at this stage, and that is to contact the manufacturer (SONY) with Make, Model and serial numbers.
Has the 'Caps Lock' butten engaged. If so take it off cap locks and try again.
Maybe asking your old boss will help.
But to be honest, this sounds very sus to me.
You just dont get locked out like this without a valid reason.

when your asked to type the password just press CTRL+ALT+DEL altogether. Hold on CTRL & ALT then press DEL button twice. you will be directed to another window where you will be asked give the username and the password. on the password just type Administrator then press enter. that will work if the administrator account has not yet been disabled.
