I’m listening to my State reps speak in the House and they’re total idiots. And I’m not talking about just speaking poorly either. Their questions and statements are just moronic. Do Democrat voters even listen to these people that they vote for?

You definitely answered your own questions. Evil knows evil - morons vote for their own. What's hilarious is that people vote in Democrats expecting handouts, but then they get abused more than the Republicans. Could you imagine if nutso McGlobalWarming became president in 2000? I think I know what his response to 9/11 would have been "Well, it just goes to show that our buildings are too tall and we should just build them shorter. It's really Republican's fault. And no, I won't attack them back, because moving troops would cause global warming."

Liberalism essentially means change. Do you think any change Democrats have put into place over the last 20 years has been good? If you have a pretty great system in place, change isn't actually a good thing. It introduces chaos into the system and causes deterioration.

A democrat will win in 2008. And we will definitely see change. And none of it will be for the good (none of the things from the house and senate have been good so far, don't expect a Democrat as a president to bring good either).

Our President keeps uttering statements like "most of our imports come from outside the country," so electing "idiots," as you put, it is not exclusive to either party. H.L. Mencken summed it up this way about American politicians:

When a candidate for public office faces the voters he does not face men of sense; he faces a mob of men whose chief distinguishing mark is the fact that they are quite incapable of weighing ideas, or even of comprehending any save the most elemental — men whose whole thinking is done in terms of emotion, and whose dominant emotion is dread of what they cannot understand. So confronted, the candidate must either bark with the pack or be lost... All the odds are on the man who is, intrinsically, the most devious and mediocre — the man who can most adeptly disperse the notion that his mind is a virtual vacuum. The Presidency tends, year by year, to go to such men. As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Sir, you have the same issues on the other side of the isle?

Why are we in Iraq? 9/11 wast traced to Afangestan! Why do our troops not have enough AMO in Iraq. Why are we sending all of our manufacturing jobs to other countries!

Why does America have a 800 Billion debt againts the other countries! Why don't the VA have enough money/any money to pay support for wounded soldiers? Why does the US have the highest cost in the world for students trying to go to college? The can go FREE in Germany!

Why do we still build wooden fire traps for houses when there are lots of other materials that are stronger, require little or no heat in the winter and stay cool in the summer? PORATON is one of thoes materials!

Why is our TAX code a complex mess? Why should I need a lawyer to help me pay my tax because the system is such a jumble mess?

Why dosen't the president, any president, use the military to secure our boarders? The constitunal athority is there!

Why do we accept a policeman shooting some one, 41 or more times? No other country on this earth shoots their citizens 41 or more times fo any reason!

Why do white people think that they are better than any other peoples on earth? Why are the people responsible for ERON, not setting in jail for the rest of their lives?

Why do you point at the splinter on the other person coat but you cannot see the wooden plank in your eyes?

Who votes for the morons in either party? The moron voters, that's who!

Now, if you want to limit votes to those with the highest IQs, be my guest (because I'd be among them), but then you'd be an elitist!

Have you been listening to Republicans, too? Almost all of our elected officials sound stupid these days, as they shuffle back and forth trying not to step on the toes of those damn political campaign contributors.

Personally, I think one has to be a moron to run for office these days.

Peace, love and nappiness!

They could just stand up there and swear at the crowd for half an hour and I would still vote for them. This country is going down the toilet and SOMEONE needs to something. Bush Co. needs to vacate ASAP. I have more faith in those so-called morons and idiots than I do in anyone in the republican party.

PS- Have you ever heard some of the incredibly moronic statements the current prez has made? He is CONSTANTLY being ridiculed for most of the crap that comes out of his mouth. You must not be a fan of the Daily Show......

No, they probably don't. Unfortunately, like in all partisan politics, they vote for the party and not the person... sound familiar, look in the mirror. Both parties are filled with idiots who think themselves above thought and it will never change as long as people vote for the person there party puts on the list.

It's called stop voting against someone and start voting for someone.

do you ever listen to ALL of these guys. They are all morons that speak poorly and ask stupid question. Democrats do not have a monopoly on this. It is a widespread part of politics.

the people that voted for the Democratic Party simply looked at the other option on the ballot and noticed that even a moron is better than that....

simple, yet sad and true...

you're probably one of those people that thinks everything Bush says is a nuget of gold... don't hold your breath for a "Quotable Bush" book that's not in the comedy section of your local book store though...

The hip hoppers, tinsel town worshippers, head bangers, and takers like welfare recipients.

Also, those that have been wanting national health care.
We've been through several democratic presidents and they haven't gotten health care yet and they never will.
They don't get it - Dems will say anything to get a vote, even put us at risk when we are at war.

Dems - promises promises - still waiting.
