after he fell, someone on the bench stood up, which player was that? And why did Mobley run back to defense when he saw that Shaun was on the floor?

Players go down all of the time and most of the time when a player goes down it nothing serious. You have to keep playing until the whistle blows. Cuttino had no way to know how serious Shaun had injured himself.

Mobley ran back because Livingston missed the layup. Play continued for about 15 seconds after the injury occured.

I couldn't tell who stood up on the bench.

Because until the whistle blows play still continues no matter what.

If you think that's bad, you should watch soccer games. They keep playing until the ball is kicked out of bounds, injured player or not. Most of the time the opposing team will kick the ball out because of the injury, but I've seen times they just keep on playing.

Play wasn't going to stop. The couple points the other team scores by him not playing D could have meant the game. Sounds callus, but really what could he have done.

poor shaun i hope he'll get a good recovery, cuttino didn't notice how bad it was so he keeps on playing and he was looking for the rebound
