if i try to combine a papaya with a banana, wt techique should i use? (nuclear transplantation, gene recombination, gene insertion, tissue culture etc.) why and how does it work??

it is called genetic engineering . and it includes gene isolation, gene insertion and a whole lot of many other things . firstly it is not like hey ! i want to combine banana and papaya . just u need to have a clear idea . why u want to combine them ? u should be clear of those reasons. for instance say if u like papaya but not it's smell and u don't like banana but u love the way it smells . then u can isolate the gene which codes for the proteins that impart specific odor to banana and insert them into papaya . and this process includes many steps . it comes under plant genetic engineering . and the success depends on the criteria that inserted genes are expressed or not.
