I want to set up multiple webcams around my house and monitor them all from one computer. Do I need to run usb cable all around my house to my computer? Please help me out and tell me there is an easier way to do it. Thanks

It doesn't work with webcams (USB). Believe me, I tried it too! There are cams specially built for this kind of job (including fake ones, to reduce the expenses and still be protected!) and also special video capture cards, for 2/4 or even more cameras. Better do a search for "video surveillance hardware"!

don't take it by your self, go to security service in your town, ask the answer of your problem, it's easy and simple, right??
