Xbox 360, money wasn't a factor when I was buying, because it is so close to the PS3 in terms of power and graphics that it dosn't really matter (regardless of what other posters say, read any article on IGN or a credible gaming site) and the 360 has more current games, better current games, and looks to be coming out with superior games to the PS3. This is all my opinion of course, the choice that I made given the known inputs. Other people choose differently for whatever reason. PS3 is better for RPG games like Final fantasy which I don't like as much because you watch 10 hours of cut scenes and RPGs are a little slow to begin with. PS3 also focus' more on the japanese wants and needs, so much fewer FPS and a lot more RPGs and such. Wii is just straight up fun but lacks the computing power to be my #1. What that guy said might or might not be true, idk, but i promise you its more hype than an actual reason to buy a ps3.

I will tell you first hand I own both the 360 and the PS3. I am not at all impressed with the PS3 at all. I still prefer playing my 360 at every chance I get. There has been way too much hype about the PS3 and it's graphics, there is really no difference that I can clearly see at this point. Keep in mind though that the PS3 disk is capable of sooooo much more than whats available right now. Once the game designers start harnnessing this the PS3 games will eventually out do the 360. For all the 360 owners you all know that the first few games available for the 360 were great as far as graphics go, but look how they have evolved...Look at Gears of War. They actually were able to utilize all it's capabilities in graphics. Ps3 isn't there yet. But eventually they will and once they do, then the graphics will be amazing.
The 360 offers so much more than the PS3 right now. The dashboard feature is one of the best concepts to date. There is nothing better than being able to sign on to the xbox dashboard and download first rate movies, videos and television series from ABC,NBC,Comedy Central and so many others to choose from. Also another great feature is the penny arcade. This penny arcade offers dozens of other games offered for a small fee, 3.00 or so this feature lets you download games such as Doom, Galaga, Pac-Man, Mrs. Pac-Man, Defender, Mortal Combat 3, Dig-Dug, Street Fighter 2 and soooo many more to choose from. The best thing about this feature is after paying the few dollars these games are saved on your hard drive and yours forever.

Playstation 3, I have one, the playstation 3 is the most powerful console with 7 synchronized core processors in the cell processor, ((360 has 3), the RSX Reality Synthesizer, and can operate at 2 TFLOPS, or in easier terms, can operate 2 trillion calculations per second, xbox360 cant even do half that, the PS3 can also create over a trillion colors, whereas the 360 is in the millions range, also, I find that the ps3 will have better games in the future, such as, Heavenly Sword in the coming month, and Final Fantasy XIII, and Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and other great RPG's. the wii isn't even competition, it's just a gimmick with crappy visuals, the 360 still isn't really competition either, the two only have a large following because they're cheap. Really though, Playstation 3 is truely the best console, hard ware wise, if you like nintendo games or halo, go for the other consoles, but Final Fantasy still beats any other game in the world in my book.

ive been sony loyal for a long time. But i have 360 and wii at the moment. PS3 launch was a failure. Im almost afraid to invest in it, it reminds me of jaguar and dreamcast. 360 has been great so far and so has wii, wii may be phased out though due to it not really being next gen besides its controllers. Its pretty much a gamecube with nifty controllers. At this point in time i say 360, unless ps3 has a price drop in the near future along with more available systems.

PS3 because I love Playstation 1 & 2 games,But the Wii is great too because its so interactive.

locowherto said it best. xbox 360 offers the best gaming currently available for the best price and the graphics between xbox 360 and ps3 is nearly impossible to see. it has many features such as renting high defintion movies and downloading your favorite episodes of you tv shows.

i say wii cuz it's a different type of eperience than the others, and it can be fun for more people

all three!...but if i had to pick just one i suppose i would have to pick ps3 because historically they have had more games that i was interested in
