If you have money, I would take the family on a relaxing cruise..if you want something more casual, a nice party in your house with all family and friends, a barbecue, their favorite cake, and a slide shows of family pictures.

Take her hot-air ballooning with a champagne breakfast to follow.
How close are you to water? Hire a ferry/houseboat/whatever and cruise up or down the river or along the lake shore with all the guests on board.
Have a big picnic in a park or somewhere special where all the grandchildren can let off steam and have a great time. Grandmothers usually dote on their grandchildren and love to see them enjoying themselves.
