They are mostly common sense. I wouls say search for practice tests in your state. Search 100 drivers permit questions. I was lucky my driving school gave me a packet of the hardest questions that really helps. I wish i could give that to you but i cant. Hope That Helps

You should definitely read over the state book first or you will fail. They usually ask a lot of questions with numbers ex: What time can a minor be out and how old does the driver next to you have to be if you have a permit...usually 25y/o.
Also pay attention and learn your signs...it seems like it would be easy but either study the state driving book or take the test a few times like I did before you pass.

Goodluck!!

Actually the test is almost more common sense than anything els. That being said, I would still suggest you get the Driver's Manual from your State DMV and read it thoroughly, cover to cover. When you've finished, there are several practice DMV tests available, on line and in books that you can try. Good luck!

Haha not at all. Some states, like Utah will let you take it open book. If you know enough to deserve a permit, then you know enough to pass the test.

With a little dose of common sense, and a good amount of time studying your drivers' manual (which you should be able to get for free from the DMV if you don't already have it), you should do fine on your written test.

Not in Maryland. I didn't even study at all and i passed. the questions were common sense. they give you a picture of a red octogon and ask what it is. a. a stop sign, B. a yield sign c. none of the above. I went with stop sign but that's just me.
