Or if you want to get into the fantasy land, sirens use their calls to lure men to them. Don't know what they do with them after they get them though.

Siren calls are mostly emegency calls and they r for security they dont ring but they indicate with a silencer thats a An Engineering term

In early Greek mythology, the sirens were a group of women who sat on the rocks in the ocean, and sang. Their songs were so beautiful and persuasive that the sailors would steer their ships to them, and wreck the ships on the rocks.
