THIS IS AN EASY QUESTION! FOLLOW ALONG AND I WILL EXPLAIN. IMAGINE, IF YOU WILL, THESE 3 IN COMBINATION........ A GOAT, AN ORANGE TREE, AND CANABIS SATIVA, (MARIJUANA)! YOU WOULD HAVE AN ANIMAL WITH THE ABILITY TO GRAZE ON VIRTUALLY ANY THING! IT WOULD BE HIGH IN VITAMIN C! WITH THE ABILITY TO EMPART A HEALTHY, NUTRICIOUS, AND MILDLY MEDICALLY BENEFICIAL EUPHORIC MEAL! GOATS ARE AT HOME ANYWHERE ON OUR PLANET! THIS IS NOT EVEN CONSIDERING THE BENEFITS FROM THE MILK OR CHEESE, OR THE HIDE.
( KID GLOVES ANYONE?), THIS COMBINATION WOULD BE VIRTUALLY UNSURPASSED IN THEIR ABILITY TO SURVIVE, THEIR SWEET SUCCULENT CITRUS FLAVOR, OR THEIR ATTRACTIVNESS TO ED ROSENTHAL, CHEECH AND CHONG, AND 13 MILLION OTHER AMERICANS WHO SAVOR A LITTLE HERB!

Sorry it is just not realistic to picture anything combined above ground. I can not picture any animal combined with a plant that could tolerate the added stress of the combination, on vine or branch, unless it was a root plant such as potatoes, carrots or beets, etc.
You really do not cook much if you think it can be done well with only one spice or herb.

study the Glycemic Index. It has a itemizing of ingredients jointly with end result and greens that variety from low to lifelike to intense on the GI. i trust the low GI ingredients are extra appropriate for diabetics.

My food prep times have a lot to do with dumpster diving
Its more kinder to give slime mold the ability to open plastic trash bags on their own but I think a genetically engineered nonsentient slime mold that tasted delicious plus climbed up top when I lifted the dumpster lid would be nice plus I'd open the bags of trash so it had more food to eat. note though that it is kinder to just give the slime mold that ability anyway
Maybe my contribution to the food source's well being could be like bringing the pumpkin pie flavored goo to mate with the cheesecake goo at a fresh dumpster
