First of all, you are gorgeous for doing that for your friend. And very brave. Unfortunatly in high school doing something lovely and kind for a girl, even if its platonic, while be met with a certain amount of teasing, innuendo and ridicule. Sorry. It doesnt last forever. Dont stop being sweet because of it.
These friends of hers could have several motives.
1.They could be jealous and are trying to get a bit of limelight.
2.They are immature and feel this is the most appropriate way to act.
3. They could like you. The teasing the one you like thing.
4.They could be little morons that are trying to embarass your friend as a source of amusement.
Who knows, who cares. Ignore their crappy behaviour. If all they have in their lives to carry on about is this then you have to pity them. If its really bothering you talk to your friend and ask her to have a word with them.

They're probably just immature. You were nice enough to make a cute card to cheer a friend up, and now they're teasing you left and right to give themselves something to gossip about. I know when I was younger, me and a lot of my friends were way too obsessed with "who liked who" and would take the most insignificant actions as evidence. It's a girl thing, I guess. They'll eventually grow out of it.
It's also possible that the girl you're talking about likes you, and her friends are trying to get the two of you together. The card might have caused her to like you (it might have made her think you're a really sweet guy), or she might have liked you all along and the card just encouraged her to do something about it.
Either way, you don't want to ask this girl out. It doesn't seem very likely that her friends would be mature enough to stop teasing you if you just TOLD them that, so I think you should try ignoring them. They're probably doing it just to get a reaction out of you. Brushing them off with a simple "I told you I'm not interested" and then ending the conversation should get them to stop eventually.

I have to say it's very seldom a girl finds a guy that is just nice with no intension. I'm guessing you're still in highschool or perhaps junior high. Girls will be girls and they'll eventually grow up but HEY....trust me, these girls teasing you is the least of your worries right now!! You'll have far more complicated situations down the road.
If you feel it's a very big deal..confront the girl you gave the card to and let her know that you think she's nice but you're not interested and her friends are bugging you to death, perhaps she can return a favor!! Goodluck!!

Why don't you get off your high horse and take her out on a date?
Giving her a card for Valentine's day means something. Be careful about the messages you are sending.
You never know, you might just like her!!
Her hint is more than enough that she has interest in you!
Time to bite the bullet.....and I'll keep bugging you too!!!
scroll down
have you asker her yet?

Tell her that she's not your type, and if you wanted to date her you would have been done asked her out! Then tell them to quit harrassing you BC you doin yo own thang, poppin that colla and gettin dem dollas, lettin it hang and swang! Then their gonna look at you like your crazy and they'll prolly leave you alone! If they dont she's prolly telling them to do this to you, to see if you really want her! Then thats when your just gonna have to really break it down for dem h03s and let them know you gave her the card BC she was b1tchin about not having a man and you kinda felt bad, damn can a brotha have some sympathy for a mutha4ucka? Then they'll REALLY leave yo @ss alone! HEHE

Tell them that a girl can be very good friend of a boy. Valentine's day is another word for friendship day.

Say it straight out. I like her as a friend, no more. It's girls like you who keep guys like me from being kind and giving to you ladies.
They act like that because society tells them that all boys want is to fire their load and 10 year old girls not playing the game are going to grow up to be 'old maids'.
... and presidents of the United States teach them that blow-jobs aren't really sex.
Sad isn't it!!!

they probably were asked by the girl to find out if your going to ask her out or not. Just make it a point you did it to be nice to her and to cheer her up and ignore them. They'll eventually get bored and leave you alone.

You should just ignore them. You could tell them to stop- but I assume that you've already tried that. Ignoring them will eventually cause them to forget what happened. Just give it a bit of time to go away- i assure you, it will. good luck!!!
oh, and by the way, i think it wa really nice of you to do that for your friend.
