I went to ck my yahoo email and it wont let me. It says i have a worm called W23.feebs I have Norton AntiVirus and it said detected 1 virus and click okay to repair. I click okay it says detected 1, resolved 1, so why can't I still check my email? Why does it still say I have a worm? And how do I fix it? Does anyone know? Thanks

I deleted my temp files and shut down my computer then turned it back on but it didn't work.

Do you think my yahoomessenger has something to do w/it? I just downloaded that yesterday. I'm gonna try some stuff you guys said about cleaning off some stuff but don't really understand all the computer lingo so please explain to me who has no clue like what a registry is or someother stuff you guys said? thanks

Norton and McAfee both are not good virus programs. You can download a free virus program from the internet, AVG Free, un-install Norton, and install AVG. This will clean out the virus.

As for checking your email, I don't know why it's not letting you.

try the following steps... this is what i do,

1. clean temp files and cookies (use a program like CCleaner - freeware)
2. clean registry again using CCleaner or any other reg clean sw.
3. use an effective anti-virus which should be updated daily (like AVG, pc-celin, symantec or mcafee)
4. run a full system scan
5. delete you email account from outlook only (backup ur mails) and re-create the account.

Just try deleting your temp net files and all that and then restarting the computer.
