I don't have a job and I'm not even going to college...so don't feel guilty.

I don't really agree with the just focus on school thing. Sure, getting good grades is important, but so is experience. A lot of employers I've interviewed with respect the fact that I worked through school... they see it as proof that I can multi-task as well as be responsible (I'm talking about working part time while in school). Maybe you should take a break now, but once university starts, work a part time work study job. That way, you can gain some work experience while going to school. Heck, even if you didn't work during the year, you could at least work during the summers.

If you are going in the fall, get a PT job at a Fast Food joint or something similar. This will at least give you some spending money for college, trust me you may find a use for it. You could also find a temp agency that could help you find a job for this time frame. You have a lot of time to fill between now and June. Make some cash.

Don't feel guilty, I think you should feel proud of yourself for going to University. I think you should concentrate soley on your schoolwork, get good grades and then get a great paying job when you graduate. Good Luck!

If you are feeling guilty, find a temporary part time job until school starts up again.

DON'T BE IN ANY HURRY TO BE IN THE WORKING WORLD JUST YET UNLESS YOU THINK YOU COULD HELP YOUR PARENT A LITTLE WITH YOUR EXPENSES, THAT BEIG SAID, GET YOUR EDUCATION, YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID LATER. AT ANY RATE WITH THE CURRENT CONSERVATIVE CONTROL OF THINGS YOU'LL BE "WHIZZIN INTO WIND" BEFORE YOU GET ANYWHERE (JOB-WISE) ESSECIALY SINCE EMPLOYERS REDUCE THEIR STAFF AS MUTCH AS 50% IN SOME CASES, AND FIRINGS ON A WHIM OF YOUR BOSS ARE COMMON PLACE. STAY IN SCHOOL !!!
