Can anyone in here give me a legitimate reason why men are better than women or vice-versa. "Men are just stupid" "All women lie" "All men cheat" "Women are dramatic and immature" "men don't know what love is" "women, can't live with them, cant live without them" "all men think with their *****" "all women are spoiled rotten". these are the same outrageous remarks of gender-bashing that we have been hearing for far too long. It's time for a real answer. I challenge you to prove that one gender is superior to the other. And I'll bet my life that it will yet again be bloody and inconclusive. Can't anybody form their OWN self-esteem anymore?

"Superior" is the loaded word here. I don't believe that either sex is superior but I think a case can be made for saying that men are more powerful than women - have been in the past, still are and will remain so for a very long time. Power is a morally neutral term, there is power for good and evil.
Of course, power is not the only criterion for measurement and when all factors are taken into account there can be no claim of superiority for either sex.

Men and women have their own unique strengths and weaknesses and they kind of compliment each other. It's sad that gender bashing happens so much with men towards women and women towards men. Yes, women do get on men's nerves with their emotional complexities that seem to be contradictions, and men do get on women's nervers with their ways as well.

Both sexes have their faults. But that is just life. If there was no adversity, life would be boring and noboady on the earth would have character, which is pricless. With all this, it is unfortunate that men and women bash one another to this extent or act superior to one another. I mean we are all in this together, men and women were put on this planet to not just procreate, but to bond, and have unity, and so forth. It can be frustrating dealing with women sometimes, and some have really pissed me off. But while I don't care for some individuals, and sometimes have the feeling in a general sense. I can't though, for women in general, because as much as they can drive me crazy, I only have to take a minute to think down deep, and realize with all this stuff, I dearly love women in every way, shapem and form.

They are quite special. Unfortunately, some men and women can't get off their insecurites, their "high horse", or past the chip on their shoulders and not let this affect their feelings towards the whole general sex. I think men and women should appreciate each other for how unique they are from one another.

It's only an inconclusive answer if you want it to be. Here's an analogy that puts it in perspective: if one gender is better than another, then one race is the ultimate race. Clearly intelligence has nothing to do with race, since it's illogical and plain stupid to think skin color somehow magically determines intelligence. Just like it's stupid to think a d*ck or a vagina determines intellect. It's all about the individual, not whats grown on your flesh.

I believe men and women have their strengths and their weaknesses. I can't say all men are superior or all women are superior because you just can't group people in groups according to gender and expect it to be OK. There is no answer to the question of which group of people are better: the men, or the women.

How could I prove such a thing, men and women are human beings with all the characteristics that belong to the human race. They can be as good or as bad as each others at any given time.

A man will lay down his life to protect a women.

A women creates life.

So I wish I could say but in todays world we are equally selfish with a few leftovers of a few good values we should have kept.

The truth be known we are so much alike se can't stand each other.

The math is easy: for every question cranking about men, fifty are posted by men cranking about women. These guys are desperate and their 'questions' are becoming more ludacris with each passing day. I ask them to support their claims with evidence - and I am told that evidence is not necessary!

Men and women are different, yet equal.
Two plus two=four
Different, yet equal

I know that the men who regularly crank on this site are NOT representative of the male population at large in western, industrialised countries.

You are right. Generalization is not a good thing. There is a word we rarely use in this kind of debates: person.

two halves of the whole--we're supposed to be partners who compliment each other, not compete.
