I think people can be both vunerable and tolerant regardless of sex.
The difference is that women tend to be more emotionally expressive, while men are physically expressive.
I think men and women feel those emotions equally though express them in a different way and that's why there is so much confusion as to wether men or women are more vunerable and tolerant.

As a general rule? Not that I have noticed.

Those qualities, at least based on my anecdotal sampling (experience), seem to be more person-specific than gender specific.

Guys get called wussies and have to bottle that stuff up though.
