Have you ever wondered what some of the benefits of movies are? One benefit that comes to mind is that they are entertaining. Entertainment may cause peoples boredom to vanish and that is what people like. Next, movies can also be informative. Some movies can be documentaries and educate most people about current things. Influential movies come to mind as my final benefit. Some movies can change people lives or help people make new movements.

I would add the word "value" after the word entertainment.
I would also prefer the active form of
"watching movies".

Well, actually it is two sentences. The first is a question. The other is an answer to the question, but it can't be the answer to that question, because you switch from second person (you) to first person (I). If you want to switch to first person you need a TRANSITION.
"Have you ever wondered what some of the benefits of going to movies are? I have, and one benefit that came to mind was entertainment."
Entertainment isn't really something different from a movie--this is a little like saying one of the benefits of movies is movies. Movies are entertainment. So you would still need to answer the question what are the benefits of "entertainment?"
I would start by picking three of your favorite movies and thinking about how those three experiences of being entertained made your life better. Did laughing make it better? Or crying? Did you learn something? Did you take away some ideas that are helpful in your life?

Its well written grammatically, but you might try something like:
Movies are beneficial to a wide audience of people because of their entertainment value.
